Oh yes, with my decision last year to leave everything I knew behind, I had photographed the odometer reading. It was exactly 222,222km! Now I forgot to photograph the 233,333km 😂 But those few kilometers led me to Gerd...

A real Cologne lad, former professional firefighter and helpful person, in the classic Rhenish sense of "gruffness"...He printed out the two pages for my appeal to the TK, yes, still not "resolved" at his place and did a suuuupeeer job as a driver for the church festival. Gerd was also immediately ready to make his drinking water connection available to me, so I wouldn't have to "fill up" anything at a gas station! So there was a final meeting, Frankie got sprayed down one more time and the personal farewell...Thanks Gerd! 🙏
