YEPP, I took part in a Greek grape harvest...🥰

...and the vines were so incredibly full...

...that I could easily fill my basket twice with 10kg of grapes per basket from just one vine 😊

what followed was pretty obvious...🤣

...I danced barefoot and produced so much grape juice that the winemaker pulled me out of the vat after half an hour 😂🤷🥰

and yes, there are soooo many more photos and videos that just haven't reached me yet...and of course I danced to Greek music in that vat 🕺

My favorite encounters on this wonderful afternoon? The old winemaker and his wife, whose two sons took over the business this year and who were really funny too. The owner of the vineyard and the vines (Yes, here the winemakers buy the wine from the actual "wine growers") along with his daughter. The wonderful manager of Hotel ASO who organized this event, the cook who prepared this incredibly delicious Moustalewria, the documentary filmmaker (I think his name is Stathis....) who is supposed to send the film...Iwavva, who sent me the first pictures, ...the 3 ladies from UK (LONDON), with Emily certainly being the funniest, the couple from Israel, mother and daughter from?....from?....from?...well, I forgot the names anyway, even though we all kept drinking quite properly on the hotel terrace, despite already being in a tipsy state...🤪

But actually the pictures from the workshop at "TERRA-PLENA" are still "missing", which I've been waiting for for days. Also from the "get2gether" with all the wonderful people who intend to support Dr. Johannes Eisenberg in his project in the future. My experiences at the former Campus-Velika will probably get their own chapter, since I also discussed this topic (among others) with Sabine from "Menschlich Wirtschaften". So I'll "tie it" to the pictures when they reach me! And until then? There are simply the snapshots that came about at the respective places....these will then get the appropriate caption...so that I can then get to the actual "highlight" for me...my dear "new" companion and "supporter" Björn has released his first album...and it "got" me so much that I don't want to, can't, may not, don't want to withhold it from you....but one thing at a time....

Yes, I carry the sun in my heart and yet the world may also rejoice in what then became rain...

...and it was quite heavy too...😢

But even after that day I started into my birthday full of joy again 😍🙏

A last round with Dirk in the bay, emotions shared through my story, which not only gave space to my tears but also touched Dirk and for that I say THANK YOU ❤️ Thank you Dirk, for your BEING 🙏

Yes, that's how life goes. The last hours have now actually been reserved for a couple from Hamburg. Super, super nice. I'm thrilled about the conversations with both of them. And now I'll continue with the other photos that are still missing, and make sure I respond to the comments then. And until then, stay tuned. See you later!

Of course there was a wonderful sunset, even though Anna (a Spanish woman traveling alone with her camper) just left without saying "goodbye" during my "recovery from hangover"...

Here's another training spot...and the swimming afterwards was awesome, since the river from the mountains simply feeds that part of the bay with fresh water from the surrounding springs 😊

And aside from a few lovely nice bars and restaurants that I saw on my way through this beautiful village, I'll take a few more photos tomorrow, there's a butcher run by two girls. And they're both taller and broader than me. Funny and pretty cool too. And I went in there and they'd actually already closed, but the bigger of the two asked me what I wanted. And so I said, well, I want to make something in the pan or on the grill tonight. And then she said, we have fresh lamb. Exactly, I'll take a photo of it later. I'll probably start cooking now. It's actually just like Dimitris in Keramuthi, the free-standing cold room and opened the door, actually, you know, just casually pulled out a rib that had been hung for two, three days, so completely pulled it out and chopped off four pieces for me. And while Dimitris needed two blows, she did it with one each time. She was also taller than, is taller than Dimitris. Right, then I got myself some herbs and so on and so forth. And now I'm looking forward to preparing my meal. It's going to be killer. I wish you all, wherever you are in this world, smile more, a wonderful evening and peaceful, joyful moments.
